It saddens us to announce that we are postponing Peace River Pride 2021. We have looked at all the ways to keep participants, volunteers, and workers safe and socially distanced and have concluded that postponement is the most responsible option for now. But don't worry--we're committed to making Pride a banger for when it's safe for everyone!
In the meantime, we're proud to announce that we're collecting stories of What Pride Means to You as a way to inform our Pride planning and to celebrate our community safely. We'll be doing a formal announcement soon with more details but in the meantime click https://forms.gle/fdkW8f6BhoWPaojx5 to submit your story and to find out more!
Please watch this page for further announcements as the year progresses, we are so proud and excited to celebrate our vibrant, awesome, and fabulous community.
Wishing you a happy and healthy 2021!
Announcing Peace River Pride, Saturday, January 16th 2021!!!
Let’s show Charlotte County our Pride! Join us for our first-ever Peace River Pride Ride and TailGAYt!
We’ll make a huge splash in our decorated rides traveling down US 41 to Laishley Park in Punta Gorda where we will watch brilliant, talented drag performers entertain us all in the safety of our cars. Bring your TailGAYt eats to enjoy the festivities!
To keep our community safe, social distancing, masks, and compliance with CDC guidelines will be mandated at the event. We ask attendees to remain in and near their cars during the event to promote safety for all Pride-Goers. We will not have vendors at this event, so please bring all your Pride gear and TailGAYt eats to enjoy at the park!
We are excited to announce that we will be holding a Best Decorated Mask contest with prizes!!! Start working on your mask and go wild, go glam, go glittery, and be mask fabulous!
