Port Charlotte, FL 33952

1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month
4:30 pm to 6:30 pm
Youth 20 and Under

Our drop-in hours are held regularly at the Mid-County Library at US41 and Forrest Nelson Blvd in Port Charlotte, Florida. The drop-ins are open to all youth and adults from 4:30 pm to 5:00 pm, and youth 20 and under only from 5 pm to 6:30 pm.

Please email Hal@AllRainbowandAlliedYouth.org for details on joining in.

Our drop-ins are a great time for local Charlotte County youth 20 and under to come together and connect, have fun, and get the tools they need to succeed. We regularly paint, play games, watch movies, and much more. We sometimes hold these hours in other locations, but this will always be specified in the event details or on our social media.

We cultivate a space of safety and respect, one where youth can express themselves without fear of judgement.

SERVICES

Advocacy for LGBTQ+ youth

Our hours cultivate a space of inclusion and safety for LGBTQ+ youth and their allies. We grow stronger by coming together.

Our volunteers are compassionate, caring people, many of whom are part of the LGBTQ+ community. We are here to support youth in individualized ways.

We advocate for LGBTQ+ youth at all levels, medical, educational, public policy, and more. We elevate youth voices so that they are represented within our community.

Referral Services

We offer an introduction into compassionate, LGBTQ+ inclusive best practices for Charlotte County-based service providers, including those involved in mental and physical healthcare, policy, human resources, and more.

If you are looking for information and education on LGBTQ+ youth, ARAY can help. We provide one-on-one conversations, as well as individualized educational packets for friends and family of LGBTQ+ youth.

ARAY offers referral services to mental and physical healthcare providers, support groups, LGBTQ+ organizations, specialists, and groups that assist with specific legal fees.
